This week has been unimaginable. The GOP, U.S Supreme Court, and Wisconsin Supreme Court put thousands of voters at risk and threatened to undermine our democracy here in Wisconsin with their irresponsible decision to hold in-person voting during a global health pandemic.
This election should never have happened. That’s why on Thursday Chair Ben Wikler held a conversation with members about the election, and what comes next, over Zoom. Vice Chair Felesia Martin and Second Vice Chair Lee Snodgrass also joined.
As pictures appeared online of lines of voters risking their lives to cast their ballots, we were reminded just how high the stakes are this year. From now until November, Wisconsin Democrats are committed to fighting to make sure that a healthy, safe, and vibrant democracy endures this crisis. Thank you to everyone who’s fighting with us.
